The definition of Reported Speech
Reported speech or indirect speech is a way of expressing what other people (speaker) have to say directly (direct/quoted speech) in the form of a statement, the question, or of others by changing the format of the talks so that it becomes more clear, natural, and efficient for the listener.
Logically, a transmitter the news did not report exactly every word spoken by someone.
Direct a speech that was converted into reports of the speech can be a statement (statement). it is important [ orders (perinahh). the invitation (undanann). demand (request). yes/no the question (question) and information questions (the question of information).
Example :
1. He said that he was not hungry at that time.
2. She told me not to touch her computer.
3. She wanted to know if I’d eaten her cake.
